Finally, we’re enjoying some full-on sun and heat. This means everyone here is suddenly working extra long hours to catch up on all of the time lost to too many rainy days. While it may have been in the 90s this week, technically, it’s still spring. This time of the growing season is synonymous with greens. Greens can tolerate some frost, so they can be planted earlier than, say, tomatoes. They also grow relatively fast; so they arrive first.
